BRIEF
Kundan Sweets, a renowned name in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh approached us to create a calendar for their brand.
CONCEPT
Burhanpur has an illustrious history and we decided to connect the brand with its heritage. This meant burning litres of midnight oil, looking up for the history of Burhanpur and creating a piece of art, not just a calendar, something that people would love to place on their desks and read at leisure.
EXECUTION
We studied the prehistoric paintings, which had a distinct style and hence we decided to express our creativity using their ancient style instead of contemporary painting methods. This lent an old-world charm to the calendar design, creating the shape of 'K' in hindi, which stood for the brand's name, Kundan. The idea was to make the brand synonymous with the rich cultural heritage of Burhanpur and share its stories that would stay with the readers forever.
